Vehicle Inspection & Investigation
Using the same advanced equipment and procedures trusted by Mercedes-Benz, we carry out a thorough initial inspection to help identify the cause of any concerns with your vehicle. This investigation may involve electronic testing, visual inspections, and other assessment methods as required. Prices start from just £100 + VAT. As with any fault-finding process, the initial results may highlight a secondary issue rather than the root cause, meaning further investigation may be necessary. This service is separate from Mercedes A or B servicing and will incur an additional charge if carried out alongside either service.
MOT
By law, vehicles over three years old must have a valid MOT certificate issued by the Ministry of Transport. The MOT test, carried out by a DVSA-authorised examiner, ensures your car meets safety and emissions standards and is roadworthy. However, it does not assess the overall mechanical condition of the vehicle. If your car passes, you’ll receive a certificate and a list of any minor issues needing future attention. If it fails, you’ll be given details of major or dangerous faults—and if these can be fixed on-site, you may qualify for a free re-test.
